Pride Book Recs for the Rest of the Year
We were talking in the QLL group chat about Pride. This Pride, past Prides, Prides we never experienced and wished we got to. The last day of June is always bittersweet, for me. One more day of unapologetic celebration before everyone else packs up their rainbows for the year. But it doesn’t stop for us — pride is all day, every day, whether it’s shouting it to the world or keeping it tucked private in our hearts.
And then we have this last week, and the grief of Dobbs, and fear of what might come next. Shit is gonna be hard going forward, and as hard as we fight we need to remember take care of ourselves and each other so we can keep going.
Don’t forget that queer joy is resistance.
Happy Pride from all of us at QLL
