Fundraiser Phase: Book Blitz

I am truly at a loss for words, but I will try my best to put my thoughts and emotions down in writing, because you all deserve the most heartfelt thanks I can give.

Wow. We are FUNDED. YOU funded this library.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. It means so much to all of us that you are willing to put your trust and your dollars into our project. We are so excited to REALLY get started!

Now that we’ve hit this baseline goal, we can set our sights directly on our mission to launch. We’re aiming to launch in October 2023, and thanks to you, we can set that plan in motion. We will be able to afford platform fees, design fees, software costs, and most fun of all - opening collection costs. BOOKS. GAY BOOKS. AT THE LIBRARY!

This isn’t the end, though. We still have until FRIDAY to keep raising funds! The more we raise, the more our collection will benefit. AKA: More money, more books. $20 will buy an ebook license for one year. $30 will buy an audiobook license for a year. Long story short, if you haven’t donated and want to, there’s still time! Your money will still go towards building a robust collection for our queer digital library! 

Again, thank you. Thank you all so very much. Thank you from everyone on our team. We are overwhelmed with the love from you, and we are so excited to give that love back through making QLL a reality.

I could never quantify how grateful I am, but know that it’s a lot. I love working on this with all of you, and thank you so much for being my friends and my colleagues on this project.
