January Newsletter
Congratulations, QLL, we made it through January! As always, January is a tough month. But the days are getting longer and there are many queer books to read to get us through these dark and wintry depths.
We'll be adding a bunch of exciting new materials right at the beginning of February, so keep your eyes peeled and your thumbs ready to tap for our anticipated collection additions:
Black History Month: We'll be showcasing Black queer history and also just centering some Black queer joy, stories, and perspectives.
Valentine's Day: Are you ready for some ROMANCE?
Stonewall Book Award: The nominees were announced in January!
Something else exciting is coming in February! We'll be opening up nominations for our (now annual) March Madness bracket early in the month! We'll let you know when, where, and how you can nominate your favorites soon, but for now just take a look at what you read last year and think about which ones were your favorites that you might want to see in the bracket! And keep an eye on socials for nomination info!
And finally, reminder to take our 3 Month Follow Up Impact survey if you haven't yet! It closes tomorrow, February 1st!
